So Where is Schriever?

Of all the military installations in the Colorado Springs area, Schriever AFB is a bit off the beaten path. As you can see from the above map, we are located due east of Peterson AFB, about a 15 minute drive. Peterson AFB is adjacent to the Colorado Springs Airport.

Some of the services normally provided at most Air Force bases are not available on Schriever; however, Peterson AFB is a full service base, offering base housing and other support functions.

More than 6,200 personnel work on Schriever AFB. By joining the 310th Space Wing, you are not only joining more than 1,000 Citizen Airmen in serving their nation, but also a highly dedicated and professional group of military, civilian, and contractor personnel. The 310th SW prides itself on being one of several mission partners that make up Schriever AFB, and we hope you carry on that tradition as a new member of our Air Force Reserve family.
