Chief Cody Learns GPS
Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody observes how the Airmen of 19th Space Operations Squadron control the Global Positioning System (GPS) March 6, 2015, during a guided tour of the 310th Space Wing on Schriever Air Force Base, Colo. Cody spoke to Airmen, answered questions during an all-call and recognized several Airmen for their contributions to the 310th SW during his two-day visit. GPS is a space-based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather conditions, anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites.
