SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 6th Space Operations Squadron, 310th Space Wing, explain the fast pace of their mission, which is to provide a backup command and control center for the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Aug. 29th, 2018. The DMSP constellation, the longest running production satellite program ever, provides strategic and tactical weather prediction to aid military operations planning at sea, on land, and in the air.
