SCHRIEVER AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The Air Force Reserve's sole representative during the 2014 Armed Forces Championship cross-country event was one of the 310th Space Wing's own.

Chief Master Sgt. Alex Escarcega, 310th Operations Group chief enlisted manager, traveled Feb. 13-16 to Boulder, Colo., and competed in the championship series. The event is a component of the USA Track & Field's Winter Cross-Country Championship series.

Escarcega finished with a time of 34:24 in the Men's Master category.
