Good Start
Air Force Reservists Maj. Douglas A. Arioli and Lt. Col. Karen A. Slocum observe as their students start into the mountains March 14, 2014 at Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs, Colo. The students participated in a GPS exercise that was part of the Space Operations Course, a two-week space fundamentals course for military and civilian non-space personnel, taught by the Reserve National Security Space Institute (RNSSI). Slocum is assigned to RNSSI at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. and is the organization’s dean of education and training.
