AF Reservist’s amateur radio skills lynch pin for Pikes Peak emergency responders
Taking advantage of his search and rescue training, Air Force Reserve Tech. Sgt. David Hodge tends to a fellow 6th Space Operations Squadron member during a squadron hike in Colorado Spring's Helen Hunt Falls area. Hodge, 6th Space Operations Squadron Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of standardization and evaluation, uses his amateur radio skills to support emergency responders during times of emergencies. The 6th SOPS is a subordinate unit to the AF Reserve's 310th Space Wing, the nation's only Reserve space wing. (Courtesy photo/Tech. Sgt. David Hodge)
