Thule Air Base coordinates ship rescue, saves 6
Air Force tugboat, “Rising Star,” tows a rescued commercial ship into the harbor at Thule Air Base, Greenland, Monday, Aug. 3. “The rapid efforts and teamwork of the 821st Air Base Group, Vectrus Services, the Royal Danish Air Force, Joint Arctic Command and the Joint Rescue Coordination Center were instrumental in saving lives today,” said Col.
